Assalam o Alaikum my name is Tanzeela Arif and I am currently involved in a three month Amal fellowship. This fellowship is really productive for me as here I am learning many new skills and how to fix them in my life. I had learnt about leadership and here I am sharing my thoughts on leadership. Leadership doesn’t mean to be a hero or require any authority to lead an organization. In fact I must say that don’t wait for authority, If you are responsible and do your job with honesty then it means that you are a leader. We can perform leadership in our daily life by fixing things around us. I am glad to share with all of you stuff that I fixed.

1- Start from where you are:

I started my leadership by looking around myself right from that place where I used to study. Here I am sharing my work place. I was in my bedroom where I started my first step on leadership that is responsibility. I looked around and noticed the things that needed to be set.

2- Fixing the table:

So the first thing that I noticed in my room was to fix the table. There were many wires, glasses and a laptop placed on it but it was not in the proper way. Here I am sharing its condition.

At that time I decided to fix all these things in the proper manner. I took all the wires one by one and rolled them then placed them in a box. I also cleaned that table. After that I placed all stuff with proper arrangement. Here I am sharing my table after fixing it.

3- Fixing makeup drawer

I just opened the drawer to take a rubber band but here I saw that all the cosmetics were in a very bad condition. Firstly I took the picture so that I can complete my project work as well. Here I am sharing one of those clicks.

I took initiative after considering my responsibility to fix that stuff. First I emptied the whole drawer then I cleaned it with some neat cloth. After doing all I placed all the stuff one by one in the proper way and it looked nice and beautiful.

Conclusion

From this activity I felt very comfortable that I did and somehow my parents were also glad to see my attitude. Actually I didn’t do it on time due to a hectic daily routine. I was ignoring my responsibilities and somehow I was not practicing leadership. Thank you Amal for this amazing activity. In shaa ALLAH from now to my own ward I will never ignore my duties. It was a really remarkable experience for me.
